Hey everyone! I know I'm always apologising for my infrequent updates but I promise it'll get better in a few weeks when my degree is done! I'm actually planning something of a revamp so stick around if you're interested in a bit more variety in this blog.
Anyways, onto some nails! Today I have a simple creme and glitter combination which I wore a few weeks ago when I was craving something simple but with a hint of sparkle. I showed you Barry M Lychee in this post a few weeks ago but I love it so much that you're going to see it again - this time topped with Nubar 2010, a flakie glitter.
For this I used two coats of Lychee (which is just dreamy, by the way), and just one coat of the Nubar over the top. Unfortunately the sun hadn't started to shine in England at this point, even though it's been glorious the past few days, so I couldn't quite capture the full colour change in the glitter. Here's the closest I could get:
These two give you some idea of the range - from purple-y blue, to green, and over to orange and red depending on the light. The neutral base meant that none of the colours were hidden by the background, so I really enjoyed wearing this combination. Nubar 2010 is an excellent glitter if you don't have any flakies yet :)
And I know I'm a day late, but I'm still in time for a link-up with those lovely ladies at the British Nail Bloggers:
Do check out their blogs if you have the time, it's worth it!
